Import Tool for Custom ePIDs / kTypes

In previous versions of M2E Pro if you wanted to add a Compatible Vehicle for a particular part on eBay Motors or UK, DE, AU eBay Sites, you can select it only from the list of available ones, that can be updated during marketplaces synchronization. This list was formed based on the data provided by eBay and cannot be expanded manually, so if particular Vehicle was missing in that list, there was no way to add it.
In current version of M2E Pro you are able to import additional Compatible Vehicles manually into the database to add it to the list of available.

You can do it in two ways:

• go to Sell on eBay>Configuration>General, where two separate blocks are available - for ePIDs and kTypes.

Select a Magento Attribute where ePIDs and kTypes values can be stored for each Product.

Then click Manage to add Custom ePIDs or kTypes.

In an opened pop-up you can see a number of added records to the database. Press Import button to add a CSV file to add several Compatible Vehicles at once.

First line of the file should contain names of columns:

1. for ePIDs: epid, product_type, make, model, submodel, year, trim, engine
2. for kTypes: ktype, make, model, variant, body_style, type, from_year, to_year, engine

There are several required fields:

1. for ePIDs: epid, product_type, make, model, submodel, year
2. for kTypes: ktype

For ePIDs product_type column you should provide one of these possible values:

• 0 - for Car / Truck type
• 1 - for Motorcycle type
• 2 - for ATV / Snowmobiles type

You can always clear added Compatible Vehicles by pressing Clear button.

• go to the Listing, switch to the Settings View Mode and select Add Compatible Vehicle option in Actions bulk at the top of a grid

After you press Submit button, you can select one of the available Compatible Vehicles and at the end of  page you will see an Add Custom Compatible Vehicle button.

Provide necessary data and press Confirm button to add one Custom Compatible Vehicle record.

After new record is added you can assign as in previous versions.

Manage Variations feature for Variational Items

In new version of M2E Pro you can work with separate Variations of eBay Item. When you add Variational Product into Listing you can see a Manage Variation option

Using this option you can search, filter, sort and manage each Variation separately. Also you can add eBay Catalog Identifiers for each Child Product. In case the value of eBay Catalog Identifier is provided here it will be used in priority over eBay Catalog Identifiers Settings of Description Policy.

For Bundle Products and Simple Products with Custom Options settings for eBay Catalog Identifiers can be provided only for each Variation separately here, as Description Policy settings cannot be applied for them.

Wizard of eBay Sites Data Synchronization

The eBay Sites data changed, so it should be resynchronized. Thus after upgrade you should pass through a Wizard to run the synchronization to update marketplaces data due to technical issues.

Price for Auction Listings

In previous versions of M2E Pro for Auction type Items in Price column of Listing grid only Start Price Value was showing, so if Item had Bids and it’s Price was changed, M2E Pro did not show this information.

In new version this situation was changed:

• If your Product has no Bids, the Start Price is shown

• If your Product has a Bid, the new Price including Bid is shown         

Also you can filter separately by different Prices in Advanced Filter.

eBay Sites list sorted by Groups

The eBay Sites list is divided into separate groups by a World parts

Only 25 Item Specifics for each Item

Now you can provide only 25 Specifics value for each Item.

Working with eBay Catalog Identifiers

In previous versions, M2E Pro used to send the values you provided as Product Details for the whole Product.

However, eBay has changed the logic and new version of M2E Pro will work in such way:

• If you provide a value for Brand, the same value will be sent for a whole Item including Variations. This value will be taken from Magento Variational Product.

• UPC/EAN/ISBN/MPN values should be provided for each Variation separately, but not for the whole Item. For Configurable and Grouped Magento Products these values will be taken from Child Products, as one Variation consists of one Child Product. For Bundle Products and Simple Products with Custom Options you need to specify values manually for each Variation using Manage Variations Tool.

Default Setting of Synchronization Policy

Default settings of Synchronization Policy were changed to optimize M2E Pro work. All the options for automatic update of Product Information were disabled by default. It was done because real-time update is rarely required, but their enabling increase the load on Servers.

In case you enable any of these options and make sure that Product Information was already sent to eBay, it is strongly recommended to disable them.

Creation of Payment Transactions for Magento orders

Earlier in some case a Transaction records were not created for Magento Orders for according eBay Order.

In the latest version of M2E Pro Payment Transaction record creation is working correctly.

Tracking of Gallery Images changes of Custom Description

In previous versions changes that were made in Magento Gallery Images Attributes added to Custom Description were not cought by M2E Pro.

Now it is fixed and M2E Pro will reflect to such changes.

GTIN in Description Policy

eBay refuses from usage of GTIN field. Now you can provide according values in different fields of Description Policy.

"List if no Product" in Description Policy

As eBay refuses from usage of List if no Product option. Now it is enabled by default.

Possibility of SKU modification

You can provide settings for Amazon Item SKU Modification in Selling Settings of your Listing.

You can select from:

• Prefix - a value you provide will be added to the start of the SKU created based on the Source you specified earlier;

• Suffix - a value you provide will be added to the end of the SKU created based on the Source you specified earlier;

• Template - an additional data will be added to the place you entered it.
  For example, product SKU is formed from Product ID 123 and SKU Modification was added like %value%-567. Amazon Item SKU will be 123-567.

Ability to search 3rd Party Listings

In new version of M2E Pro you can use a Search tab to Search as through M2E Pro Listing as through 3rd Party Listings.

Some major Performance Improvements

As the number of Amazon data update requests is limited, in some special situations M2E Pro used to send instead of one feed with 100 of Items two feeds with 60 and 40 Items. It caused unwarranted usage of requests reserve.

In case Product updates were often and their number was big, M2E Pro could not process all incoming updates, that leads to a typical error like "Request wait timeout exceeded" or similar to it.

New version was improved to avoid such situations.

Matching of Magento and Amazon Variational Attributes/Options

In new version if you matched Variational Attributes or Options of Variational Attributes manually as M2E Pro cannot make it automatically, you can save the match you selected and use it in future automatically.

For example, you add a Configurable Product to the Listing and assign ASIN/ISBN to Amazon Parent Product. M2E Pro cannot match the Attribute Color with the Attribute Colour by which your Magento Product varies. You select an accordance and press Assign.

In previous versions in case this situation occurs again, you have to select accordance again, but  the latest version in such situation shows a pop-up where you can save the match to make M2E Pro use it automatically in future.

Also you can check the box Remember my choice to make M2E Pro to save the accordances automatically without pop-up.

The same mechanism is using for the Options matching.

The match of Variational Attributes can be saved at the moment of:

• Variation Theme creation with one Variational Attribute;

• matching of Variational Attributes under existing ASIN/ISBN;

• matching of attributes in Search Tool.

The match of Options for Variational Attribute can be saved at the moment of:

• New Child Product Creation in Manage Variations pop-up;

• usage of Search Tool for Variational Product with selected Variation

ASIN/ISBN and UPC/EAN search

In previous versions when M2E Pro found by ISBN one Item instead of several in reality, the error came up.

Now the number of found results is equal to the number of real Product in Amazon Catalog.

Incorrect Currency for Amazon Orders

The issue with incorrect Currency rate values for Amazon Orders with Status Pending or Canceled was fixed. Now it is working properly.

Empty Titles of 3rd Party Listings

In some cases for 3rd Party Listings the Title was empty. In this version it was fixed and Title values are updating successively.

Shipping Weight of Amazon Parent Product

If you create new Amazon Parent-Child Product on Amazon, based on Description Policy where Weight should be taken from an Attribute “Weight”, the error about Shipping weight equal 0 or missing Shipping weight arise. It is connected with the fact that an Attribute Weight is not applied to Parent Magento Products.

In new version if during new ASIN/ISBN creation this value is missing or equal to 0 for Parent Product, it will be ignored. However, for Child Products it will be used.

Ability to search 3rd Party Listings

In new version of M2E Pro you can use a Search tab to Search as through M2E Pro Listing as through 3rd Party Listings.

Price ranges for Variational Products

For all Integrations in new version if the Product Price is different for Variations, M2E Pro will display the Price range of values for Main Product from minimum Price of Variation to maximum Price of Variation.

If the Price is the same for all Variations, the one Price value will be shown.

If you sort Product by the Price column for descending sorting the context value is equal to minimum Price value, but for ascending sorting - it is equal to maximum Price value.

Filter is working under the overlapping ranges principle.

For example, if the Price Range is from 91.00$ to 116.00$ and filter is set up from 100 to 120, then this Product will be shown.

For Amazon Integration the Price range is counted including applied Sale Price Values of Child Products.

Ability to track Changes from Channel

New version of M2E Pro catch Price, Quantity and Status changes made directly on the Channel with according record in Logs.

Performance of the Grids

In previous versions of M2E Pro in case you add a big number of Product to the Listing or you are trying to open a Listing where , the grid used to need some time to be opened.

In new version it was improved and the Performance of grids were increased.

Pages Help from Documentation

Now you can reach a Documentation with detailed information directly from the Help forms of M2E Pro.

Also the top help icon is leading to Documentation too.

"Access denied" message

In 6.3.3. version of M2E Pro the Sell on Multi-Channels tab was available only for users with admin access rights.

Now it is fixed and all users with according permissions set up in your Magento can access this tab.

"Relist when Stopped Manually" issue

In previous version in some cases when Relist When Stopped Manually option was set to No in Relist Rules of Synchronization Policy, the relist action runs.

Now it is fixed and works correctly.

Ability to disable some Synchronizations globally

The ability to disable 3rd Party, Feedback and Order synchronization globally in Sell on eBay/Sell on Multi-Channels>Configuration>Synchronization was removed. The according settings can be provided in Account settings, so these options were removed.

However, you can set up an Inventory synchronization.
