eBay Integration

Added

Item Preview Tool with Values which will be sent to eBay

In the new M2E Pro version, an Item Preview tool has been added. When the Preview action is applied, you can see a preliminary eBay Product page. The M2E Pro preview page is only a stylized template, but not an actual eBay page.

You can choose up to 50 Items to preview at the same time. To move between the Item Preview pages, you can press right arrow and left arrow buttons at the top of the page.

The Preview page displays the main Product data, such as Product Title, Image(s), eBay Item ID, eBay Category path, Item Condition, Quantity, Price and all of the available Product Variations, which will be sent on eBay during the next List/ Revise/ Relist action.

The Preview template also gives you a brief overview of the main Item Specifics, Description, Shipping, Payment and Return data. You can find this information under the corresponding tabs at the bottom of the page. However, the available information does not contain all of the details, only the most essential points.

Ability to set Parts Compatibilities dynamically

In the new M2E Pro version, an ability to dynamically set and manage Parts Compatibility is introduced.

In the previous versions, it was impossible to manage the Parts Compatibility dynamically. If the set of the available ePID(s)/kType(s) changed (e.g. new values were added, or some of the values were removed), the changes in the Parts Compatibility Magento Attribute had to be provided manually.

Unlike the old versions, M2E Pro version 6.3.7 offers a more flexible approach to Parts Compatibility management.

ePID(s)/kType(s) can be manually selected from the common grid and applied to the Parts Compatibility Magento Attribute which is provided in Sell on eBay > Configuration > General.

However, the new functionality also allows Filtering Compatible Vehicles based on various conditions (i.e. Type, Model, etc.) and saving the provided Filters for future usage. After you press the Save Filter button, the specified in the grid columns settings will be saved.

Note: Saving a Filter does not imply its automatic application. If you want to apply any of the saved Filters, you should go to the Filters tab, select the appropriate Filter(s) and apply them by choosing Select action from the mass Actions bulk.

Note: Filters must be saved and applied consciously and wisely, as their application has a direct influence on performance efficiency.

Also, you have an option to Group the appropriate Compatible Vehicles or Filters. You can do it by selecting certain ePID(s)/kType(s) from the common grid and applying Save as a Group Action or by choosing the particular saved Filters under the Filters tab and also applying Save as a Group Action. The Group of ePID(s)/kType(s) or Filters can be reapplied multiple times without any need to manually search for the right Compatible Vehicles all over again.

Using these methods lets you create a set of data which will be further added to the Parts Compatibility Magento Attribute. To add the prepared data set to the Attribute, you can use either Add or Override option.

In the case of using Add option, the prepared ePID/kType values will be Added to the already present in the Attribute values.

If Override option is used, all of the previously present in the Magento Attribute values will be Overridden, and only the newly selected ePID/kType values will be applied.

This approach works for the manually selected ePID(s)/kType(s), Filters and Groups.

The ability to Filter the ePID(s)/kType(s) and Group the appropriate Compatible Vehicles or Filters allows you to set up Parts Compatibility more efficiently.

Ability to select several Configurable Attributes for Variation Images

With the release of the current M2E Pro version, the Change Images for Attributes option in the Description Policy has been modified.

Previously, only one Magento Variational Attribute could be selected for this option. The new version provides users with a new possibility to select several relevant Magento Variational Attributes.

Using the Variation Attribute Images option drop-down, you should also choose one Attribute based on which Images for Multi-Variation Items will change.

Improvements

Variation Attributes/Options are shown for Products in Listings Log

The Listings Logs for Multi-Variation Products has been improved in M2E Pro version 6.3.7.

Previously, the Listings Logs for Multi-Variation Products displayed information only with reference to Parent Product, even if the changes concerned Item's Options/ Variations. In the current version, it has become possible to track changes of each individual Option/ Variation in the Listings Logs. Thus, once there is a change in the Product Attribute for any of the Item's Options/ Variations, the Log will inform you about the change referring to the particular Child Product.

For example, there is a Multi-Variation Product with Options Material Wood, Glass and Plastic. If the Price for the Material Glass Option changes, the Log will inform you not only about the change of Product Price, but also about the change of Product Custom Attribute with reference to the Variation Material Glass.

SKU column is added to the Variations Grid of Manage Variations pop-up

The grid in the Manage Variations pop-up window for Multi-Variation Products has been modified in the new M2E Pro version.

A new column which displays SKU values for each of the Product Variations has been added. Thus, now you can filter or search for certain Item Variations based on their SKU values.

SKU values are automatically displayed in the grid if the values are provided in the corresponding Child Products.

Note: Product Variation SKU will not be automatically displayed for the Products which were added before the upgrade. M2E Pro will save the Child Product SKU values and automatically display them in this grid only for those Multi-Variation Products which were added to a Listing after the upgrade.

Fixes

Automatic Revise of Variation Images

In the earlier version of the extension, automatic Synchronization failed to Revise Product Variation Images properly. However, this issue has been solved in the new M2E Pro version.

If the Revise Rules in Synchronization Policy are accordingly set, the Product Images will be properly Revised after there is a change to any of the Product Variation Images.

Amazon Integration

Added

Ability to set VAT settings to increase Product Prices automatically

With the release of M2E Pro version 6.3.7, you have an opportunity to specify whether you want to increase the Product Price on Amazon by certain VAT percentage.

A new Add VAT Percentage option has been added in the Selling Format Policy. By setting this option to Yes, you indicate if you want the Price on Amazon to be automatically increased by the provided VAT percent rate.

Example:

For a Product with Magento Price = £10

VAT Rate = 15%

Magento Price: £10

VAT 15%: £10 * 15% = £1.50

Final Price on Amazon (Magento Price + VAT) = £10 + £1.50 = £11.50

Note: No VAT rate value will be sent on Amazon. Only the Item's Price on Amazon will be increased.
Ability to show Quantity value for Amazon Fulfillment Products

In the previous versions, it was possible only to Revise AFN Item Price and switch between the AFN and MFN Fulfillment of Simple and Child Products.

In the new M2E Pro version, a new function of reviewing Quantity values of AFN Items has become available.

You can review the AFN Item Quantity by clicking on the AFN link in the QTY column of the grid. The pop-up window will display QTY values of 50 successive AFN Items from the grid. This function is available for M2E Pro Listings as well as 3rd Party Listings.

Improvements

Description Policy is Managed under the same tab along with other Policies

Earlier, Amazon Description Policies used to be managed under a separate tab in Sell on Multi-Channels >Configuration > [Amazon (Beta) Description Policies].

Now, the saved Description Policies can be found under the general Policies tab along with Selling Format, Synchronization and Shipping Override Policies.

Next to the Description Policy Title you can also see whether the Policy provides settings for new ASIN/ISBN creation and what Amazon Category is chosen for it.

Number of Items and Item Package Quantity can be sentotAmazon at any time

Previously, Package Quantity and Number of Items options in Description Policy used to be required fields for new ASIN/ISBN creation.

From the current version, the Package Quantity and Number of Items values can be sent onto Amazon at any time, not only during the initial List Action for New Amazon Products.

Note: This change of settings had to be implemented due to certain Amazon UK requirements. However, some errors related to these settings may occur now. To prevent possible errors, you must provide correct values (in accordance with the existing Product data on Amazon) for Package Quantity and Number of Items options in Description Policy.
Performance during Actions for Parent/Child Products

General Performance during List/Relist/Revise Actions for Products with Parent-Child relationship has been greatly improved.

In the earlier M2E Pro versions, there could be various memory leaks which would cause poor performance, if not the performance collapse. Fortunately, the issue has been resolved and efficiency is now increased.

Fixes

FBA Product Price can be correctly Revised after it was changed in Magento

In the older versions of the extension, after there were Price changes in Magento Products, Price for AFN Items could be automatically Revised with mistakes. This problem has been fixed in 6.3.7. version, and currently no Price discrepancies are observed after automatic Revise.

Wrong Inactive (Blocked) status during List action for many Products

Before, if a large number of Items were Listed on Amazon at once, Amazon API could return a wrong Inactive (Blocked) status for these Items. This issue has been fixed in the new M2E Pro version.

Only those Items, which are not Active in Seller Central on Amazon, will have Inactive (Blocked) status in M2E Pro Listing.

Rakuten.com Integration

Added

Ability to set VAT settings to increase Product Prices automatically

With the release of M2E Pro version 6.3.7, you have an opportunity to specify whether you want to increase the Product Price on Rakuten.com by certain VAT percentage.

A new Add VAT Percentage option has been added in the Selling Format Policy. By setting this option to Yes, you indicate if you want the Price on Rakuten.com to be automatically increased by the provided VAT percent rate.

Example:

For a Product with Magento Price = £10

VAT Rate = 15%

Magento Price: £10

VAT 15%: £10 * 15% = £1.50

Final Price on Rakuten.com (Magento Price + VAT) = £10 + £1.50 = £11.50

Note: No VAT rate value will be sent on Rakuten.com. Only the Item's Price on Rakuten.com will be increased.

Improvements

General Improvements due to the Rakuten Team requirements

Due to Rakuten.com Team requirements, a great number of configuration and setting changes have been introduced in the latest M2E Pro version. Overall, work of Magento - Rakuten.com Integration has been much improved.

Deleted

Ability to get Rakuten Product Title for 3rd Party Listings (technical issue)

For the Rakuten.com technical reasons, it is not possible to receive Product Titles for the 3rd Party Listings. Thus, after the 3rd Party Products are imported, their actual Product Titles will be replaced with the following text 'Unknown [Product Title cannot be received]'.

As a consequence of such changes, the 3rd Party Products can not be automatically Mapped to a Magento Product based on Product Title. This setting has been removed in the new M2E Pro version.

Ability to List Products automatically using Seller SKU (technical issue)

Due to Rakuten.com technical settings, Products can not be automatically Listed based on the provided Seller SKU values. This option of Automatic Listing using Seller SKU has been removed.

Common Changes

Added

Ability to create a New Magento Attribute 'on-the-fly'

An ability to create a new Magento Attribute on-the-fly has become available.

In case none of the Attributes available in a drop-down can be selected for the Option, you can choose 'Create a new one...' and quickly create a suitable Magento Attribute. In order to Create an Attribute, you have to fill in the Attribute Label, Attribute Code, Catalog Input Type, Scope, Default Value and Attribute Sets fields.

Note: Some of the fields may not be available for selection. The availability depends on the Option for which the Attribute is being created
Note: This Option does not imply automatic Product Attribute Value set up. After the Attribute becomes available in Magento, you should Manually provide the Value for the Product.
Auto Add Rules can ignore Magento Products with "Not visible individually" visibility

The current M2E Pro version has introduced a new Auto Add/Remove option. Now you can specify if the Magento Products with visibility 'Not visible Individually' has to be added to the Listing automatically.

If the option is set to Yes, then new Magento Products with visibility 'Not visible Individually' will be added to the Listing based on the Auto Add/Remove Rule conditions. Otherwise, if set to No, only Variation (i.e. Parent) Magento Products will be added to the Listing automatically, excluding Child Products.

Improvements

Backward compatibility with Magento Security Patch (SUPEE-6788)

After the Magento Security Patch (SUPEE-6788) was released, Magento Enterprise Edition 1.14.2.2, Community Edition 1.9.2.2 and the patch bundle SUPEE-6788 address several security issues. Unfortunately, addressing the issues required some changes that may possibly break backward compatibility with customizations or extensions.

The new M2E Pro version has been provided with all the necessary modifications conforming to the recent Magento changes.

In order to avoid any of the possible errors, we strongly recommend upgrading to the latest M2E Pro version 6.3.7 via Magento Connect Manager. You should also remember to clear browser cache after an upgrade.

You can check M2E Pro Best practice to learn more on upgrade.

More stable connections with M2E Pro servers (connect time is reduced)

Connection with M2E Pro servers has been improved. Currently, the server connection is more stable and less time is required to set up the connection.

Fixes

Magento Attribute could not be used if it has numbers in its Attribute Code

Previously, if a Magento Attribute Code contained numbers (e.g. Magento Attribute Code 'brand_1'), M2E Pro could not always properly use such Attribute.

This issue has been fixed in the new extension version.

Inline Magento blocks did not work in Custom Description if custom Package/Theme is used in Magento

Before, if the custom settings were provided for Package/ Theme options in System > Configuration > General > Design in your Magento, the Inline Magento blocks used in Custom Description could not be always correctly displayed.

However, this issue is fixed in the current M2E Pro version.

Magento Attribute Value could not be retrieved for Attributes of Select/Multi-Select type

In the earlier M2E Pro versions, there were cases when M2E Pro failed to correctly retrieve Magento Attribute values if the Attributes were of Select or Multi-Select type. This problem has been sorted out with the release of the 6.3.7. extension version.
