Listing Magento Variational Products on Amazon
You can sell the following types of Magento Products as Variational ones on Amazon via M2E Pro using Parent/Child mode:

Amazon Variational Products: Basics
Any Amazon Variational Product consists of Variation Theme, Parent Product, and Child Product.
Variation Theme defines how the related Child Products differ from each other. For example, if you are selling sneakers on Amazon, they may vary by size and color. The list of Variation Themes is provided by Amazon and cannot be changed or added. Variation Themes depend on Amazon Product Category and can be assigned to the Product within the M2E Pro Listing.
Parent Product functions as a “container” that unites all related Child Products. Parent Product is not displayed on the Amazon interface and cannot be purchased. It corresponds to the notion of Magento Parent Product.
Child Product is a certain variation of a Parent Product. Unlike a Parent Product, a Child Product is a physical one that is presented on the Amazon interface and can be purchased. It corresponds to the notion of Magento Child Product
Child Products do not have separate pages on Amazon. However, in the Search Results, buyers can see particular Child Products:
In fact, these are pages of Parent Product with selected Child Products.
It is possible to list Magento Variational Products on Amazon in two ways:
under the existing ASIN/ISBN
under the new ASIN/ISBN

To list your Magento Product as a Variational one on Amazon, the first step is to add a Parent Product to the M2E Pro Listing.
A Parent Product added to the M2E Pro Listing contains all the related Child Products. To see the Child Products, click Manage Variations in the third column of the Listing:
The Manage Variations option allows you to see the Child Products only after the Parent Product is listed on Amazon.
Requirements to list Magento Variational Products under the existing ASIN/ISBN
Before you list Magento Variational Product as Amazon Variational Product under the existing ASIN/ISBN, make sure that:
1. You have found the corresponding ASIN/ISBN on Amazon. There are two possible ways to search for it:
via Assign ASIN/ISBN Manually option
via Assign ASIN/ISBN Automatically option. M2E Pro performs automatic assigning based on the Search Settings of your Listing.
2. You have matched Magento Attributes of your Product and their number with the set of Amazon Attributes.

3. You are assigning ASIN/ISBN of Amazon Parent Product, not the Child one.
Once all the requirements are met, you can list your Magento Variational Product under the existing ASIN/ISBN either automatically or manually.
Requirements to list Magento Variational Products under the new ASIN/ISBN
If you want to list Magento Variational Product as Amazon Variational Product under the new ASIN/ISBN, make sure that:
1. You have set a Description Policy for new ASIN/ISBN creation and assigned this Policy to a Magento Variational Product. Description Policy assigned to Magento Parent Product will be applied to all the Child Products related to it.
2. The Variation Theme of the selected Category coincides with a set of Attributes of Magento Variational Product.
Other essential points for listing Magento Variational Products under the new ASIN/ISBN
Even if you meet all the requirements for the new ASIN/ISBN creation, it does not guarantee that your new Product will be listed and added to the Amazon Catalog. Before creating a new Product, Amazon checks whether the Product with the same UPC/EAN is present in its Catalog under the existing ASIN. If the corresponding ASIN/ISBN is found, Magento Product is linked with it and a new ASIN/ISBN is not created. The Product will be listed under the existing ASIN/ISBN.
That is why you need to ensure that your product is, in fact, unique and is absent in Amazon Catalog before listing it under the new ASIN/ISBN.
M2E Pro performs the List action for Parent Product first. The related Child Products will be added to your Amazon Inventory as well, right after the Parent Product.
When a new Parent Product is created, M2E Pro automatically creates Amazon Child Products on the basis of Magento Child Products.
Magento Parent Product does not have Price, Quantity, or SKU as this information is only related to Child Products. That is why the SKU, Price, and QTY columns will always have the N/A value displayed.
