Ability to create Magento Attributes 'on-the-fly'

An ability to create a new Magento Attribute on-the-fly has become available.

In case none of the Attributes available in a drop-down can be selected for the Option, you can choose 'Create a new one...' and quickly create a suitable Magento Attribute. In order to create an Attribute, you have to fill in the Attribute Label, Attribute Code, Catalog Input Type, Scope, Default Value and Attribute Sets fields.

Ability to apply an Advanced Product Filter

On each page containing Products you can find Advanced Filter. Advanced Filter helps you find necessary Products using more complicated search conditions based on Magento Product Attributes and Channel Attributes.

If you would like to apply it, you should press on Show Advanced Filter button.

So, you will be able to provide a filtering condition or the combination of several conditions.

Ability to use a Show Products which are presented in other M2E Pro Listings feature

In the latest M2E Pro version while adding the Products into the Listing, you can tick a checkbox for Show Products presented in other M2E Pro Listings to make the list of the Products available be reloaded and include all the Products, even those ones which are already added to other Listings.

Ability to customize the Magento Order Numbers

You can easily mark the Magento Orders created for the Channel Orders using a customized Order number. To do that, you should select the Source of the Order number (Magento or Channel) and set a Prefix value in the Account configurations.

So, once the Magento Order will be created its number in Magento will be provided basing on these settings.

Partially translated User Interface (DE, ES, EN, FR, IT)

The M2E Pro Interface has beed partially translated for different Locales such as DE, ES, EN, FR and IT. The translation is planned to be expanded for the future versions.

Improvements

Compatibility with Magento version 2.1.0 and higher

The current version contains all necessary changes to make it be compatible with the Magento 2.1.0 version. So, if your Magento is currently on 2.1.x version you can use an M2E Pro for it without any issues.

Ability to set filter by Date and Time values

Previously, the ability to filter by Date was available in M2E Pro grids.

In the current version, the filter parameters were improved and now you can easily set filter not only by Date but by the particular Time period.

Clearing the Module data after it is uninstalled

New M2E Pro versions has a mechanism which clears all Module data after the uninstallation is executed.

Thus, no further issues might arise.

External links are marked with the special icon

In the latest M2E Pro version all the links which leads you to the resources outside the extension are marked with the icon.

Error/Warnings notifications when there is any issue with the module static deploy

If your Magento is running in a Production Mode, it requires a static content files to be presented.These files are usually generated after Magento or its Modules are upgraded. 

So, if these files would be missing, the Extension cannot be working properly and the according messages will be shown.

Multiple Admin Panel interface fixes

The M2E Pro interface was changed/improved with the multiple fixes (more than 100). It allows increasing its overall Performance.

Issues with the Module installation via Component Manager for Magento v.2.1.x

In previous M2E Pro version the errors might arise during the installation via Magento Component Manager for Magento version 2.1.0 and higher.

This problem is fixed and no related issues are observed in the version 1.1.0.

Errors which arose during setup:di:compile and setup:di:compile-multi-tenant running

In some cases in the previous version the errors might arise while the setup:di:compile and setup:di:compile-multi-tenant commands are executed.

This issue is fixed in the latest M2E Pro version and no related issues are observed now.

Some Product Synchronization cannot work properly

Under certain circumstances the Product Synchronization cannot be properly executed in previous version.

The needed changes were implemented and there is no related issues are observed in new version.

Some issues with the Magento Order creation process

Previous version contained an issue which in some cases negatively influence on the Magento Order creation.

This issue is fixed in the current version and no related problems are observed.

Multiple fixes for different functionalities

Product Thumbnail was not shown correctly in Listings Grids

There was an issue when the Product Thumnbnails were not shown properly in the Listing.

This issue is fixed in the current version and there is no related issues observed.

Many fixes/improvements related to the PublicServices Models

There were lots of fixes and improvements implemented into the PublicServices Models which allow M2E Pro to catch the changes made to your Magento Products not via standard Magento Functionality.

M2E Pro Global Notification Messages were not shown

In some cases in previous M2E Pro version the global notifications were not shown.

This problem is fixed and no related issues are observed in the version 1.1.0.

Subscription Error Messages were not shown for Accounts

In previous version there was an issue when the error messages related to the Subscription were not shown.

This problem is fixed and no related issues are observed in the version 1.1.0.

Ability to override Listing Settings for the particular Product(s)

Once the Magento Products are added to the Listing, the settings specified for this Listing are applied to them. It means that the same Price, Quantity and Format, Synchronization, Description, etc. Policies are applied to all Products added to the particular Listing.

New M2E Pro version allows overriding the Listing settings for the particular Products.

So, to change the settings for the selected Product you should:

• switch the Listing to the Settings View Mode using a switcher at the top of the page

• select the Policy you would like to override in the Actions column of the grid for the selected Product;
• in the opened pop-up, you should select the Source Mode

There are several options to select from:

• Custom Settings - allows you to set the custom Policy configurations;
• Use from Listing Settings - means that the same Policy configurations as for the Listing will be applied to the selected Product;
• Policies - allows selecting from the list of already created Policies.

Ability to Preview the Item information before it is listed to eBay

In new M2E Pro version, an Item Preview tool has been added. When the Preview action is applied, you can see a preliminary eBay Product page. The M2E Pro preview page is only a stylized template, but not an actual eBay page.

To see an Item Preview page, you need to tick the appropriate Products from the Listing and select Preview Items option from mass actions bulk.

You can choose up to 50 Items to preview at the once. For navigation between the Item Preview pages, you can press right arrow and left arrow buttons at the top of the page.

The Preview page displays the main Product data, such as Product Title, Image(s), eBay Item ID, eBay Category path, Item Condition, Quantity, Price and all of the available Product Variations, which will be sent on eBay during the next List/Revise/Relist action.

The Preview template also gives you a brief overview of the main Item Specifics, Description, Shipping, Payment and Return data. You can find this information under the corresponding tabs at the bottom of the page. However, the available information does not contain all of the details, only the most essential points.

Ability to manage Buyers Feedback

New M2E Pro version contains an ability to download the Buyers Feedback. In order to enable its automatic import, you should set Yes for Import Feedback option in eBay Integration > Configuration > Accounts > Feedback tab.

The list of the imported feedback messages can be reached by pressing a Feedback link for your eBay Account in eBay Integration > Configuration > Accounts grid.

You can either send a response to the received feedback:

• manually - by pressing a Send Response button for the particular feedback from the list;

• automatically - by setting Auto-response rules in the Account configurations.

There are several options available for the Auto-response:

• Cycle Mode - cycles between the template responses you created.
• Random Mode - uses a random template response.

In addition, there is an ability to select for which type of feedback the response should be sent automatically - for all of them or only for a positive ones.

Ability to estimate the eBay fee amount before the Item is listed

Click on estimate fee link in the eBay Item ID column of a Listing grid to verify the amount of eBay fee for your Item.

For the Items which are already listed to eBay, the eBay Item fee is displayed in the Item ID column of a grid as a certain value.

Item Description Preview feature in the Description Policy

The latest version of M2E Pro contains a Preview option for the description you provided in your settings. So, the configurations you provided for the Description in the Description Policy could be previewed before you list the Item to eBay by pressing a Preview button.

In the opened pop-up you should provide a Product ID which you would like to preview and the Magento Store View, the values should be taken from.

Press Select Randomly button if you would like the system to automatically select the Product which will best suit.

Once you Confirm your choice, the description data will be displayed.

Ability to use a Custom Inserts in Description Policy

Using a new M2E Pro version, you will be able to insert the attributes you would like into the custom description of your Item. To do that, you should press an Insert Customs button which becomes available if the Custom value is selected for the Description option in Description Policy.

Next you will need to choose the attribute you would like to be included into the description of your Product.

Ability to apply a Watermark on Item Images

Starting from this version, the ability to add a Watermark to the Main, Gallery anddescription images becomes available. So, in the Description Policy configurations you can set Yes for Use Watermark option and upload the watermark image.

You can either specify preferences for additional configurations of the Watermark image such as its Transparency, Scale and Position.

Ability to use a WYSWYG editor for Custom Description in the Description Policy

The WYSWYG editor was added into the Description Policy. So now, you can provide the description configurations for your items faster and easier.

Press Show Editor button for your Custom Description to be able to use it.

You can hide the editor anytime you need by pressing a Hide Editor button.

Integration with Terapeak service

Terapeak.com service was integrated into Listing grid. Terapeak is a premium research service for e-commerce sellers, that searches and analyzes a full year of pricing, selling and listing data.

Once you hoover a mouse on the listed Item, the optimize link becomes available. Click it to check the optimization data for your Item.

Improvements

Ability to rename the Variation Option labels without further errors from eBay Trading API

Previously if any Variation Option label of your Magento Product was changed, this Item cannot be properly updated on eBay because of the errors returned. These errors were caused by the restrictions of eBay system which do not allow to update all the data for the Items which have sales, etc.

The 1.1.0 version includes a mechanism which detects such changes and modifies the data which is sent to eBay to prevent further errors. This functionality passed an in-depth testing and the received results show that the issue is no longer persisting.

Let's look how it works using a particular example. You have a Grouped Product in your Magento which consist of 2 Child Products.

This Product was listed to eBay with the same Variation Option labels.

The Variation Option label was changed in Magento.

The Item will be revised on eBay and the updated Option label will be displayed.

Preventing the eBay Trading API errors if Magento Child Product was unassigned from Parent

In previous M2E Pro versions for the case when you remove one of the Magento Child Products (which is already listed to eBay), the eBay system returned you an error related to the mismatch between Variations presented on eBay and the ones you sent.

For example, your Product has 2 variations - red and green which are listed to eBay.

However, then the Green variation was removed from the Magento Product.

And during the next Revise action running, the error used to arise.

But the current version contains a workaround which prevents these errors and allows the Item to be revised on eBay.

Fixes

Item duplicates if List action was run manually for Listed (Hidden) Item

Under some circumstances when the Item was placed in M2E Pro Listing with the Listed (Hidden) status, the ability to run List action for it manually was available. It cause the further duplicating of this Item on eBay and the issues related to it.

This problem is fixed and no related issues are observed in the version 1.1.0.

Multiple fixes for different functionalities

'There is another Item with the same eBay User ID, Product ID and eBay Site' error fix

This error used to arise for some cases during an Automatic List action running. Now it is fixed and no related issues are observed in the current version.

Images import when Magento Product is created during the Magento Order creation

In previous version there was an issue when the Magento Product was creating during the Magento Order creation process, its images were missing and not imported.

This issue is fixed in the current 1.1.0 version and no related issues are observed.

Import of full list of the 3rd Party Listings on a constant basis

Logically the 3rd Party Import process might be divided into 2 parts:

• initial import - which imports full list of inventory and might be time- and resource-consuming;
• common import - which is running when any event (new Item added to eBay Inventory, any update to the Items which are already placed, etc.) is caught. It downloads only the Items which were changed that allows to increase the Performance of the system in general.

However, the previous version had an issue when each synchronization re-loaded the full list of the 3rd Party Listings.

This problem is fixed and no related issues are observed in the version 1.1.0.

Tax Categories were not shown in the Price, Quantity and Format Policy

For some cases the Tax Categories were not displayed properly in Price, Quantity and Format Policy. However, the according fix was added to the new version and now there is no related issues left.

Payment Policy could not be changed if PayPal Business Account was configured

Under certain circumstances, when your PayPal Account is configured as a business one, the Payment Policy cannot be edited.

This problem is fixed and no related issues are observed in the version 1.1.0.

Ability to Schedule List/Relist actions executing in the Synchronization Policy

The Schedule settings were removed because they are less-intensively used among current M2E Pro Users.

If you currently have the Schedule settings applied, they will be reseted. Thus, the List/Relist actions could be executed anytime.

Integration with M2E Pro Repricing SaaS Service

Recently M2E Pro Repricing SaaS Service became available. The Service is created to manage Prices of your Amazon Products flexibly and dynamically. It is working independently from the M2E Pro Extension. However, the Amazon Repricing Service can be used in combination with the Extension to analyze the data received from the Service.

You can find a detailed information about it in its documentation.

And now, we are glad to announce, that starting from the latest version, you can use an M2E Pro Repricing SaaS Service in your Magento either.

Ability to apply Shipping Override feature for Products

The support of Shipping Override Policy is added to the new M2E Pro version. This Policy allows overriding the shipping settings for the selected Product(s).

You can configure the Shipping Override Policy in Amazon Integration > Configuration > Policies by pressing an Add New Policy button.

After you select a Marketplace you want to use the policy for, the Shipping Services will become available.

You will have to provide the Locale data and select an Override Method you would like to use.

There are 3 Override Method options to choose from:

• Exclusive - is used to fully override the Amazon Settings;
• Additive - is used to add an M2E Pro settings set to the Amazon Settings;
• Restrictive - is used to restrict the Amazon Settings.

After the Method has been selected, the Cost mode and value must be specified.

To assign the Shipping Override Policy to a Product in an M2E Pro Listing, the following steps must be taken:

• open a Listing;
• switch the Listing to the Settings View Mode;
• tick as many Products as you wish to assign the Policy to and select an Assign option under Shipping Override Policy in Actions bulk at the top of a grid; or, you may also find this option in an Actions column of the grid for each individual Product.

Besides, the changes made in the Shipping Override Policy can be automatically revised if the relevant Revise Rule is enabled in Synchronization Policy.

Displaying of the Channel Gift Message(s) as comment on Magento Order page

Using the latest M2E Pro version, the Gift Messages of your Orders would be imported and displayed in the Magento Order.

Some sort of bugs in Automatic Search ASIN/ISBN tool

In some cases the automatic Search for existing ASIN/ISBN might not work properly. However, the latest version contains all necessary fixes and there is no related issues now.

Synchronization was broken due to error "Call to a member function getOptions() on a non-object"

For the case when there were some changes made to Child Products, the error "Call to a member function getOptions() on a non-object" arose. It used to prevent the Items from being properly updated on Amazon.

This problem is fixed and no related issues are observed in the version 1.1.0.

Parent Product ASIN/ISBN was shown for Child Products instead of Child ASIN/ISBN in Search ASIN/ISBN tool

In previous version, there was an issue when the ASIN/ISBN of Child Product was replaced with the ASIN/ISBN of the Parent.

The needed fix was implemented and no related issues are observed in current version.

Some sort of issues when Products are adding to the Listing during the Configuration Wizard passing

There used to be an issue with the inability to add the Products into the M2E Pro Listing while you are passing a Wizard.

This problem is fixed and no related issues are observed in the version 1.1.0.

Incorrect behavior during adding Virtual Attributes to active Variation Products

In some cases, the issue might arise while managing the Virtualized attributes for Variational Products.
